US Cabinet Depot Has Added Flooring to its Product Offering
Known for its high quality stock cabinetry, US Cabinet Depot has expanded its product line and now offers two types of Rigid Core (SPC) Luxury Vinyl flooring — the Opulent Series and the Provident Series.
USCD’s SPC rigid core luxury vinyl flooring is durable and water-resistant. What makes SPC flooring different from other types of luxury vinyl flooring is its composite core layer.
SPC describes the rigid core found in USCD’s engineered floors. SPC stands for Stone Polymer Composite, and the composite materials create a stable and water-resistant material.
Buying by the Pallet Saves You $$
When you purchase flooring from US Cabinet Depot by the pallet load, you get a discount on freight costs. There is no minimum required — the discount pricing applies to orders as small as one pallet.

Rigid Core (SPC) Luxury Vinyl Flooring from USCD is Composed of Layers
- Top Layer. The top layer from USCD’s rigid planks is UV coated. UV finishes are low in volatile organic compounds, which means better indoor air quality. The UV coating does not require any waxing.
- Wear Layer. USCD’s wear layer protects the planks from dents, scratches, stains, fading and everyday wear-and-tear. The Opulent series has a 20 mil wear layer. The Provident series has a 12 mil wear layer.
- Printed Image Layer. This layer provides the photo imagery for the plank that makes it look like natural wood. USCD’s printed image layer uses authentic wood grain patterns.
- SPC Core Layer. This layer is the dense, waterproof core for the plank, made from a Stone Polymer Composite (SPC), which provides rigidity and stability for the plank. The USCD SPC Core layer also provides the basis for installation with the Uniclic locking system.
- Pre-attached Underpad. This layer is made from EVA foam, which provides sound insulation and cushioning.

Benefits of Rigid Core (SPC) Luxury Vinyl Flooring
Waterproof. A big benefit of SPC rigid core luxury vinyl flooring is that it has a completely waterproof core. Unlike hardwood, it can be installed in bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms and mudrooms without fear of warping. The waterproof feature also makes this plank more stable in environments where moisture and temperature can fluctuate.
Style. SPC flooring from USCD is available in a range of colors and wood grain patterns that look like hardwood. Their flooring finishes complement the finish colors of their cabinets.
Comfort. The bottom layer of each plank creates cushioning for the SPC flooring. This layer also contributes to a quieter sound when walking on SPC floors.
Combine Shipping for Convenience and Cost Savings. For dealers who order flat pack, shipments can be combined in one delivery or even on the same pallet if the weight requirements work for the pallet. Either way, there are both cost and convenience advantages for getting the delivery at the same time. Kitchen dealers, remodelers and house flippers will benefit from the convenience.
Easy Installation. SPC floors are easy to install. They can be placed on top of different types of subfloors or even on existing flooring. USCD’s flooring installs using the Uniclic system from Unilin Technologies, which eliminates the need for messy glues. Unilin Technologies has provided a video demonstrating their Uniclic system for USCD flooring installation. They also have a video on their YouTube channel.
